Criterea for submission of photographs is as follows: 1) Any photographs sent to us will be considered for the site, but not necessarily accepted. 2) The World Ship Society of British Columbia reserves the right to select, add or delete photographs from the site as it so chooses. 3) All submissions must be certified to be original material, taken by a member of the branch (or friend of the branch) and not otherwise published in any book or copyrighted publication. 4) All submissions will become the property of the World Ship Society of British Columbia, and may, at its discretion, add the images to its collection of photographs. 5) All submissions are to be sent to photogallery@worldshipsocietyvan.ca or mailed by *snail mail* or personally delivered to Gunther Wahl (request mailing address from previous link). 6) The World Ship Society of British Columbia accepts no claim for loss of submitted items or theft of the images from the site by surfers to the site. 7) images should be formatted as jpeg at a resolution not exceeding 10KB each or a setting of 75dpi. If you do not have scanning equipment, scans can be made by Gunther Wahl or Glenn Smith from your original prints or slides. 8) subject material for consideration includes any maritime-oriented image taken by a Vancouver Branch member, preferably of ships or facilities or people in the Pacific Northwest with an emphasis on the British Columbia coastal operations.
